Nostalgia
Slimity moved out yesterday, her room is empty and my house sounds so hollow and echoes when you talk. Not unlike the episode of Friends where Rachel moves out of Monica's apartment (we relate our lives to Friends almost daily). I am a very nostalgic person, so I have dug up a bunch of old pictures of the two of us... Gosh that sounds so coupley. I shall miss the girl but I am fairly excited to see her new place and have sleepovers.

Bassike basics.
As I get older I find myself more and more drawn to staple pieces rather than glitzy 'trend' based items, therefore I seem to be spending more money on these items as I know they will remain timeless in my wardrobe. Bassike is one label that wins in this department. They may cost a little more than your average basic's label but I can guarantee you that you can wash your Bassike clothing a hundred times and notice no sign of wear. If anything they seem to get better with age. The strangest part is I always seem to feel more attractive in Bassike, than in any other item I own.
Here is a hot tip too: If you get down to the Fat sale store on Brunswick street, you can pick up quite a few Bassike pieces for really cheap. I just purchased the below 'Scoop V neck long sleeve tee' for $66.

Australia Day Shenanigans
We spent Australia day at the most brilliant house. The boys pay little to no rent, and they are allowed to do whatever they want to the house because when they move out it is being torn down. Upon entering we had to sign our names in on the wall, there was a home made slip and slide, and a 'green room' where the walls are totally covered in fake grass.
Dimity is wearing a Kylie Hawkes dress. I am wearing an Ezzentric Topz denim overall dress, Asos basic tee and Tony Bianco 'Devon' boots.

Current Must Haves
There are always several pieces which i have my eye on, always!
I love each of the following and might need to treat myself to one this pay... or at least put one on layby! The Stolen Girlfriends Club dress is now on sale, and to be honest i would be happy with any of the pieces in this fabric. Simply brilliant!
