Engaged.

I am posting on behalf of Slimity, who has a life, while I do not aha. Actually she is in study lockdown but she had her friend Tegan's engagement party on the weekend so I thought I had better post some of the images that keep trickling all over my facebook. She wore a dress by Melbourne label Margery Daw. The last picture is my favourite! Dim's sister Fanne (Annabel) rocking a pair of fancy gym pants underneath her dress.

Work Out Life

We (and I am new to the 'we' I confess) love to wear gym clothes. Yes it is true we mainly wear gym clothes just because they are super comfortable, and not because we are going to the gym, however fashion is on our side since sporty chic is EVERYWHERE this season, and here is new label Work Out Life with their first amazing collection to prove it...

In their lookbook their are three sections, Work, Out and Life (see what they did there!). Most of these images are from Out, because that was my favourite but you can view the entire collection by checking out their facebook or their website which also has a cute video of their model, Bambi Northwood-Blythe. New Kid on the block.

I am feeling all smitten over these shoes I found on Need Supply Co. and after adding three new pairs to my wardrobe recently, you'd think I would be done for a while. But New Kid have got what I want.

As soon as payday comes along I think I will need the Burgundy 'Penny Teasers'. I actually have a shortage of black in my wardrobe, but the burgundy are just too pretty to go past? I'd gladly take them all, but I don't want to get all greedy. Although I do find myself drooling a little over the 'Claude Demure' flats too (second from the top). Check them out, I think you will find the price is quite reasonable. Fairy x

There are far too many things i want at the moment. Being back at uni means more online shopping even more recipe compiling. Worst student in the world.

Two posts, One day: Ksubi

I went along the last Thursday to the Ksubi 'Bad Sports' launch at the South Yarra store. Complete with popcorn and fairy floss, and miniature animal figurines as gifts, they sure know how to throw a party. In hindsight I probably should have taken a picture or two.

I have long been hunting of the perfect boyfriend jean. Fingers crossed these will end my search.

My friend Hannah who happens to work for Ksubi wore this knockout red dress on the night.

These shorts are the men's version of the one item I want most from the collection. I plan on getting them big and baggy to see me through the summer. (For some reason I couldn't find an image of the women's anywhere?).

Greetings.

Slimity kindly reminded me the other day about our blog, something of which I seem to have temporarily forgotten about. She is right, we are lazy. 

If you are in Melbourne you will notice how much of a tease the weather is lately. The sun is out when I open my blinds in the morning, so I want to dress for summer. It looks like I can. But then I step outside my door (and my nicely heated lounge room) and suddenly all i want to do is cancel whatever plans I have and run inside to hide under my blankets. 

Here is hoping that the weather warms up fast, before I actually turn into a bear thanks to all this hibernating. 

On a final and most exciting note, yesterday I got my first tattoo. A positively appropriate picture of a 'fairy'/dandelion wing/wish. It was surprisingly painless, and I can easily see how people cannot stop at one. Fairy x

Wanting..

Just checked out new May and fell in love with these pants straight away. The dress in the same print is super cute too. May is just great because it's so reasonably priced and easy to wear. 

Going from something that is kind on my savings account to something which definitely is not, but i think i can justify it because birthday is coming up! Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL!

I also like this! Plus if you spend $150 at Country Road you get $50 off ;)
