Amusement Queen

Two things making me very happy at the moment: I received a suprise text message from Ticketek this morning saying I had a ticket to see Radiohead, all thanks to my lovely friend Sambam. What a magical way to start my day! And secondly this photo of Slimity, queen of creating the most amusing photographs you will ever lay your eyes on...

Dumplings x Trust Us

It's quite the tradition for us these days to spend Friday nights stuffing our stomachs with dumplings and chinese broccoli, and skulling down many bottles of red before heading out. Last weekend we did just that, and ended up at the 'Trust Us' gig at Miss Libertine's. 

Dimity wore a Her Pony dress and Gorman heels. I wore Thursday Sunday knitted crop top, and Kylie Hawkes maxi skirt (which is now looking a little worse for wear). Sorry for the poor quality pictures, we only took our iPhones out x

Lemon Vespa

Lately I have been getting around on the back of my boy's scooter and I have fallen in love (with the scooter). Most of the time I am in absolute stitches imagining how ridiculous we must look to people  since he is covered in tattoos and therefore would appear to be better suited to a motorcycle. Despite the fact that I tease him constantly, it's actually my new favourite method of transportation and I am tempted to get one for myself... in lemon! I thought the last image was very apt.

Here are three female artists we have on repeat lately (if not for the last 3 years). Poor Lana Del Rey has been getting terrible press but we like her music, and her name change so we will keep listening to her regardless. As for Florence we both are long time lovers, in fact it was one of the very first topics that we bonded over when we met a few years ago. We have seen her live every time she has been in Melbourne and naturally have tickets to her next Melbourne gig in May. All hail the female vocalist!
