Maripossa Magic

Wandering around Brunswick street on my lunchbreak I found this beautiful jewellery label in Alphaville called Maripossa. It was so intricate and beautiful to look at that these pictures don't do any justice. I find jewellery to be a very personal purchase and I am constantly eyeing off other people's wrists, necks and hands to see what they are wearing, just because I think it tells such a story about the wearer. All of these items are now on my wishlist...

Tiger Balm

Meet my latest fuzzy addition to my wardrobe. This tiger head knit is delightfully toasty and fun to romp around in. The photos are poor quality but my latest addiction is taking pictures on facebook chat and sending them to friends across the world.

Stalking Slimbelina

Slimbelina went back home over the weekend for a wedding and I have been stalking her down on facebook because she looked so gosh darn pretty in her new Alice McCall jumpsuit (see previous post). The food looked pretty delicious too. In the last picture she wears her Gorman skirt which was picked up for a steal at Gorman Suprise. I know which items I will be stealing from her wardrobe next! Stockholm Street Style

Our lovely friend Sussanah spotted on Stockholm Street Style. We think she looks just like a Disney princess, she is beautiful!

LMFF

On Wednesday night a few of us went to L'oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. We saw runway 06 which included Alice McCall, Bassike, Flannel, Kirrily Johnston, LIFEwithBIRD, Lisa Ho and Morrison. Alice McCall had a few standout pieces but personally I think 2nd SS11 will be hard to beat and is without a doubt my favourite collection of hers so far. Nearly every collection featured leather which i adore and I loved Kirrily Johnston's mix of leather and wool in her Precipice Coat (pictured below). Morrison kept with neutral tones and bronzed leather which was lovely.

I wore a skirt by Melbourne label Melia By Night, necklace by Sollis Jewellery and shoes by Vera Wang Lavender. Annabel wore dress by Dhalia and Racheal wore Catherine Leon.

Kuwaii

I have wanted these Kuwaii sandals since late last year but considered it for too long only to find that they were sold out once I made the decision to add them to my shoe collection. Now I have just seen them in Fat in the plain white with 30% off. Should I, shouldn't I? I always find with sandals, and especially flats that I never get enough wear out of them and get over them very quickly. Someone promote me to 'world's worst saver'. Jade x

Mister Zimi AW12

The latest collection by Mister Zimi was launched this morning and I am in a state of torture. I need the Billie boots, and atleast one of the three leather jackets below. I am supposed to be saving for travel and it seems to feel more like a burden than anything.
